Due to the Covid19 health crisis, we are inviting Noble community members to join hands with the NPS Foundation in an effort to support the newly unexpected needs of Noble Public Schools. Our faculty, staff, and students are facing many challenges during these unstable times, and it is our goal to provide supplemental funding to address these needs as they emerge. 

During the first few weeks of the crisis, our school district was generously responsive to the calls of the healthcare and first responder communities - donating all remaining classroom disinfectant wipes/hand sanitizers and all Personal Protective Equipment on hand to our local fire, police, and hospital entities. There is an immediate need to replenish the district supply of these items so that NPS can protect our district employees who continue to serve meals. The district also has a future need to build up these health safety supplies for the fall semester, as we have no idea what the virus situation will look like when traditional school resumes. Additionally, many of our families are in need of supplemental school supplies for their home learning. Due to the economic impact of Covid19, we expect that need for supplemental school supplies to rise in the fall, as many of our families will still be struggling to recover from the economic impact of the Covid19 pandemic in their own homes.

In response to the situation, the NPS Foundation for Academic Excellence has created the NPS District Assistance Fund as a vehicle for the NPS community of parents, alumni, and citizens to give back to Noble Public schools in a tangible, effective way by providing immediate financial support during these times of uncertainty. For every tax-deductible dollar you donate to help our schools between now and June 1st, the NPS Foundation will match your collective giving amount, up to $5000. This will help us provide an additional $10,000 of supplemental emergency support for our students and faculty/staff during this pandemic. 100% of donations will go directly to Noble Public Schools for immediate use to fund needs such as (but not limited to) personal protective equipment, schools supplies, and sanitary supplies. We realize and respect that our community members are in varying states of financial limbo and welcome participation at ALL levels - no amount of donation is too small or too large. If you are searching for a way to tangibly help our school community, this is a great way to "pay it forward" to NPS during this time of uncertainty and financial strain.

The Noble Public Schools Foundation is a community led non-profit that is separate from the management of Noble Public Schools. Our mission is to connect community resources with the needs of teachers and students of Noble Public Schools, by providing additional funds for items that fall outside of the NPS district budget. Our vision is to see every child attending Noble Public Schools have access to academic excellence in the classroom. In normal times, this typically comes in the form of classroom grants for supplemental curriculum enrichment. However, during extraordinary times such as these, our board of directors feels called to be flexible in our giving model and meet the immediate needs of our school community.
